If you don't live on this beautiful island you will have to fly or catch a boat. Several flights come to Launceston daily from Melbourne in Victoria. The Spirit of Tasmania I and II ferries sail from Melbourne daily. Tasmania is serviced by Virgin Blue, Jetstar, Rex, and occasionally Qantas airlines.
