Platypus Park Country Retreat has been lovingly developed, with hard work, over 15 years by a Tasmanian family, according to the needs of their customers.This is not a large commercial complex but the best in boutique accommodation. Everything is supplied, all linen, cooking utensils, crockery and cutlery. The smiles are free. We can arrange a gift voucher for you too!

Forester family 2 bedroom unit has a queen bed room and a twin single room. A full kitchen facility and spacious lounge dining area, furnished with quality and usable antiques, there is one standard bathroom with floor heat and recently renovated(shower, toilet and hand basin). To keep you entertained there is a TV, DVD, CD/tape/radio. To keep you warm in the cooler months there is a cosy wood fire, electric heater and your bed has an electric blanket, blankets and doonas. There is a double sofa bed as well to cater for the larger family. Can accommodated up to 6.

Pipers family 2 bedroom unit has a double bed room and a twin single room. A full kitchen facility and spacious lounge dining area, furnished with quality and comfortable fittings, there is one standard bathroom (shower, toilet and hand basin). Brid double 1 bedroom unit has one double bed room. Lavender Spa 1 bedroom cottage is designed for the romantic couple with a queen bedroom, separate fully self catering kitchen, lounge and dining area with very comfortable furnishings. The bathroom has recently bben renovated with a new two person spa and walk in shower. To entertain you there is a TV, CD/tape/radio. Ideal for two but there is a double sofa bed if you need it.

Lavender ensuite is designed for overnight stays. It has a double bed and a single, tea and coffee making facility, small fridge, microwave and TV. The bathroom has full disabled facilities. This room is very wheelchair friendly. Will accommodate 3 people.

Together Lavender cottage and Lavender ensuite make an ideal 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom accommodation for 2 couples.

Wattle Spa cottage has 3 bedrooms, one queen room down stairs and a queen room and twin single room up stairs. This cottage is fully self catering with full kitchen facility including a dishwasher and m/wave. The lounge dining area is very comfortable and for your entertainment there is a TV, DVD & video, cd/tape/radio. The bathroom has a large double oval spa, separate shower recess and hand basin. There is a separate toilet. To keep you warm or cooled there is a reverse cycle air conditioner. The cottage is designed to accommodate 6 people.

Wattle Spa ensuite is a 2 bedroom ensuite room. There is a queen bed downstairs and a double up stairs. The bathroom has a double spa with shower over, toilet and hand basin. There are tea and coffee making facilities, toaster and small fridge and a m/wave, TV, cd/tape/radio. Heating and cooling is provided by a reverse cycle air conditioner, and there are electric blankets on the beds. This room is designed for two couples for an over night stay but great just for two people.
