Boutique Accommodation - Platypus Park Country Retreat

in Bridport, North East Tasmania has been developed, over 16 years by a 5th generation Tasmanian family. Changes have been made to suit the needs of their customers during this time. It is not a large commercial complex but the best in boutique B&B accommodation, situated on a small farming property, you are invited to come and share the experience.

Accommodation styles

Below you will find details of all the different types of accommodation, from self contained ensuite rooms, self caterng family units, romantic spa cottages, spa ensuite rooms, offering one, two and three bedroom accommodation options, just choose the one which suits you best. Everything is supplied, all linen, cooking utensils, crockery and cutlery.

Forester

• A family 2 bedroom unit

There is a double sofa bed as well to cater for the occasional extra person.

Great for two but can take up to 4 persons.

Lavender Spa cottage:

Lavender ensuite is designed for overnight stays:

• The bathroom has full disabled facilities. This room is wheelchair friendly.

Together Lavender cottage and Lavender ensuite make an ideal 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom accommodation for 2 couples.

Wattle Spa cottage has 3 bedrooms

• One queen room down stairs.

• A queen room and a twin single room up stairs.

• This cottage is fully self catering with full kitchen facility, including a dishwasher and m/wave, full stove and fridge.
  
• The lounge dining area is very comfortable. 
  
• HD TV, DVD & video, cd/tape/radio.
  
• The bathroom has a large double oval spa, separate shower recess and hand basin.
  
• There is a separate toilet.
  
• To keep you warm or cooled there is a reverse cycle air conditioner.
  
• The cottage is designed to accommodate 6 people.

• Wattle Spa ensuite is a 2 bedroom ensuite room.
  
• There is a queen bed downstairs and a double up stairs.
  
• The bathroom has a double spa with shower over, toilet and hand basin.
  
• There are tea and coffee making facilities, toaster and small fridge and a m/wave.
• HDTV, DVD, cd/tape/radio.
  
• Heating and cooling is provided by a reverse cycle air conditioner,
  
• Electric blankets on the beds.
• Doonas, pillows and all linen.
  
• This room is designed for two couples for an over night stay but great just for two people.
